Associate, Resources Development & Growth

The Resource Development and Growth Associate plays a pivotal role in coordinating and streamlining the operational components across all fundraising teams. This position acts as a central hub, working closely with headquarters and remote teams to ensure seamless collaboration, timely delivery of initiatives, and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. By fostering a culture of cross-team collaboration and continuous improvement, the Associate contributes to the organization’s growth and impact.

The Associate is integral to the success of fundraising operations, driving collaboration, efficiency, and innovation. Through proactive coordination and resource management, the Associate supports the organization's mission and ensures the effective execution of high-impact initiatives.

This position is will be based in Washington, D.C. area (Hybrid- 2 days per week); the position offers a range of $60k to $64k. Selected candidate must be local to the Washington D.C. area. Exact compensation within the stated salary range may vary based on skills, experience, and internal equity.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operational Coordination: Serve as a key fundraising point of contact for all internal teams, ensuring alignment on priorities, progress tracking, and adherence to deadlines. Execute complex administrative tasks and address operational challenges to facilitate team success.
  • Process Improvement: Proactively identify inefficiencies, refine existing workflows, and develop new processes to optimize operations and reporting.
  • Documentation and Resource Development: Create and manage templates, guides, and documentation that enhance team productivity and standardize practices
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with internal teams and external stakeholders to keep them informed and engaged.
  • Data and Information Management: Oversee the organization, analysis, and flow of critical data, ensuring accuracy and accessibility to support strategic decision-making.
  • Administrative Support: Take a proactive and strategic approach to managing the Chief Revenue Officer's (CRO) calendar, including scheduling and prioritizing meetings. Coordinate and book travel arrangements, and handle expense management efficiently.
  • Cross-Departmental Liaison: Act as a representative of the Resource Development and Growth team in interdepartmental meetings, internal initiatives, and cross-departmental collaborations
  • Less than 20% travel.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred, but not required.
  • 3+ years’ experience in fundraising or project management.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and relationship management skills, including the ability to navigate challenges with strong judgment and emotional intelligence.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently on multi-step, detail-oriented projects.
  • Proven success in handling multifaceted projects thriving in dynamic, multi-tasking environments.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience presenting to high-level audiences.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, Zoom, and related tools.
  • Proactively takes initiative to work independently and efficiently, maintaining adaptability in dynamic and evolving circumstances. Approaches problem-solving with creativity and a flexible mindset, consistently driving projects forward with clarity and focus.
  • Interest in anti-hunger and anti-poverty issues.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
