Associate, Revenue Operations

The Associate, Revenue Operations will be responsible for quick, accurate, and timely entry of gift information into the Raiser’s Edge database. Additional responsibilities include assisting with routine database cleanup (QA processes) and other tasks as needed such as entry of Workplace Giving Raiser’s Edge database (RE NXT), coding offline revenue, donor advised fund gifts, invoicing, and assisting with Asana tickets. The Associate will also serve as primary support for the Manager, Revenue Operations

This position will be based in Washington, D.C., (Hybrid- 2days per week). Certain aspects of the position will require on-site office time. The position offers a salary range of $60k-$64k. Exact compensation within the stated salary range may vary based on skills, experience, and internal equity.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Primarily responsible for performing high volume gift entry into the RE NXT database. Ensure gift entry follows the organization’s coding guidelines for reports.
  • Aid in production of queries and reports from RE NXT as needed.
  • Responsible for check deposits and batching, and coding offline revenue.
  • Manage third party revenue gift entry/import process.
  • Downloading WF batches & coding all offline revenue (WF lockbox, Operating Wires, DAF’s etc.)
  • Enter all operating wires sent over from finance (Operating Wires, WPG Wires, Fidelity DAF’s)
  • Pull all gift batches from Caging Vendor, QC, and send them over to Manager, Revenue Operations to be imported into RE.
  • Manage the batch filling system and provide backup support during the annual audit procedure.
  • Serve as point of contact to confirm and process all matching gift requests, update company profiles with required IRS documentation, maintain all login information and handle any questions related to matching gifts.
  • Assist with processing workplace giving donations and manage workplace giving log in detail.
  • Serve as point of contact and collaborate with Finance on invoice creations.
  • Support the Revenue Operations team in performing quality assurance on all data entry.
  • Serve as primary back up to the Manager, Revenue Operations, and provide support for the Revenue Operations email inboxes and Asana requests.
  • Partner with colleagues to support Share Our Strength's work to be a diverse and inclusive organization, and ensure this value is embedded in the organization and throughout our work.
  • Perform other administrative support as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required; HS Diploma/GED required.
  • Strong knowledge of gift processing procedures and 1 - 3 years of Raiser’s Edge or other fundraising database experience preferred.
  • Highly organized with the ability to handle differing projects and priorities while coordinating workflow in a deadline-driven and service-focused environment.
  • Excellent information management and organizational skills, with great attention to detail.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and problem-solving skills.
  • Very strong interpersonal and communications (including verbal and written) skills and cultural competencies, underscored by strong emotional intelligence.
  • Proven ability to excel working independently and as part of a team environment.
  • Strong skills in MS Office suite; experience in Luminate is a plus; but not required.
  • Ability to work during the December holidays between December 26th and January 1st
  • Interest in anti-hunger and anti-poverty issues.
